Photography & Media Release

Last updated: May 25, 2026

The short version: we love showing off freshly groomed dogs on our Google Business Profile, Instagram, and website. But we ask before we post, and you can say no.

What we'd like to do

When your dog has a great groom, we sometimes:

  • Take a before/after photo for our portfolio
  • Post the after photo on Instagram (@pawshmobilegrooming) and our Google Business Profile
  • Use the photo in marketing materials (Facebook ads, the homepage gallery, this site)

What we promise

  • We ask first. No photo gets posted without your explicit "yes."
  • We don't post your address, last name, or any human face unless you're in the photo and approve.
  • We use first name + last initial only (e.g., "Bella · Shih Tzu · SouthPark" or "Charlie · Golden Retriever · Ballantyne").
  • You can revoke permission anytime. Email hello@pawshcharlotte.com and we'll remove the photo from anywhere we control within 7 days.

What you can opt out of

At booking, you can opt out of:

  • Photos entirely (we won't take any)
  • Social media posts (we take before/after for our internal portfolio only)
  • Marketing use (portfolio + social fine, but not paid ads)

Permission survives the appointment

If you give blanket permission ("yes, you can use any photos"), that covers all future grooms unless you revoke. You don't need to give permission again each visit. You can change your mind at any point and we'll honor it going forward.

Photos of you

If a photo includes any part of you or your home (porch, doormat, etc.), we will ask separately before posting and crop accordingly.

Tell us your photo preference when booking, or text us anytime to change it: (571) 739-5771
