Terms
Terms of Service
By booking with Pawsh Mobile Grooming LLC, you agree to these terms. Plain English.
1. Booking and cancellation
Bookings are confirmed by text within 5 minutes of the form submission. We send a reminder 24 hours before the appointment with Sarah's 30-minute arrival window.
You can reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours before the appointment. Inside 24 hours, there is a $25 fee — we hold the slot for you and turn down other bookings to keep it open. See the full cancellation policy.
2. Pricing and payment
Prices are listed on each service page and the homepage pricing table. No deposit required at booking. You pay after the appointment when your dog is back in your arms — cash, card, Apple Pay, or Zelle.
Travel is free within 15 miles of 28203. Outside that radius, a flat $15 travel fee applies and is shown to you before you confirm.
Add-ons (de-shed, teeth, nail grind, sanitary, anal glands, blueberry facial) are added at the curb if needed, with your approval.
Happiness guarantee: If you're not happy with the groom, it's free. Tell us at the curb — we'll fix what we can or waive the charge.
3. Vaccines and health
For everyone's safety:
- Current rabies vaccination is required (must be at least 48 hours post-shot).
- Current DAPP (distemper, adenovirus, parvovirus, parainfluenza) is required.
- Bordetella is strongly recommended but not required.
- You can upload records when you book, or text/email them ahead of the appointment.
If your dog appears ill or contagious at the appointment, we may reschedule. If your dog has a chronic condition (seizures, heart issues, etc.), tell us in the booking notes so we can adjust handling. See the full vaccine policy.
4. Matting policy
Severely matted coats can't be safely brushed out. Pulling mats from skin is painful and creates risk of skin tears, hematomas, and "post-clip alopecia."
If your dog is severely matted, we will:
- Text you photos at the curb
- Recommend a shave-down (typically a #5 or #7 blade)
- Wait for your written approval before any cuts
- Charge the regular service price plus a $15 de-matting fee if applicable
We never charge "punishment fees" for matted dogs. We just need your okay.
5. Liability
Pawsh is licensed, insured, and bonded (NC Mutual, Policy #PCH-2026). In the unlikely event of an injury to your dog during a groom, our care-custody-control coverage applies. Tell us immediately so we can document and submit a claim.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, behaviors you didn't disclose (bite history, severe anxiety, etc.), or environmental hazards in your driveway.
6. Disputes
Disputes are governed by North Carolina law. Before any legal action, we agree to discuss the issue directly (email, phone, or in person) for at least 30 days.
This is a portfolio demo. Production Pawsh terms will mirror this template. Talk to a NC business attorney before adopting these terms for a real business.
